On the Energy Technology, Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection degree programme, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to make the energy supply of the future more efficient or to reduce the environmental impact of energy production. The basis for this are natural science and engineering subjects such as mathematics, chemistry and materials engineering. In the course of your studies, you will deepen your understanding of engineering: future-oriented and economical processes for the provision of electrical and thermal energy by means of combined heat and power as well as the storage of surplus energy will be covered. The English taught Master programme  in International Energy Engineering, you will teach you the necessary engineering contexts, procedures and concepts of renewable energies such as wind power, hydropower, solar energy and bioenergy and thus the largely emission-free and resource-conserving provision of energy in an international environment. This will provide you with in-depth specialist knowledge in all areas of environmentally friendly energy technology, which you can deepen according to your individual interests thanks to a wide range of electives.

During the course of your studies, you will mainly work and conduct research in the field of environmentally friendly energy technologies. You will also deal with the potential and economic viability, supply and demand of energy.
