One Staff Week - Two countries, two universities!
OTH Amberg-Weiden (Germany, Bavaria) and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Czech Republic)
Take the unique opportunity to discover two universities in one week!
The focus topic of our 5th joint International Staff Week for academic and non-academic staff will be:
"Mindful internationalisation and inclusion".
The programme will constist of a mixture of presentations, workshops, discussions and intercultural exchange.
An experienced trainer will help us understand what mindful internationalisation means and how to develop this in our work and with our students. Participants will learn something about themselves and their work at universities, but also about current challenges facing students.
Campus and city tours at the various colleges/universities in Pilsen, Amberg and Weiden, as well as the Pilsener Urquell Brewery Tour and KOMOpivo Beertasting Event in Weiden and of course various academic delicacies are some of the highlights that await you!
Dates: June 2 - 6, 2025

Main location: City of Amberg (Bavaria)
Hotel recommendations will be provided.
Bus transfers to Pilsen and Weiden will be organised free of charge.
Registration fee: 150 EUR (this covers for the invited trainer, 3 bus transfers and program organisation)
The International Staff Week will accept a limited number of participants (max 2 per institution). Participation of registered applicants will be confirmed ASAP.
The participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation costs. It is recommended to use an Erasmus+ grant provided by the home university.
