Contents
The study program addresses future-oriented and exciting topics. The Machine Learning and Deep Learning courses form the foundation of the program. In addition to teaching the most important theoretical principles, the functionalities of the learning algorithms are explained using practical application problems and trained and implemented. Computer Vision prepares you for the algorithmic challenges of camera-based object recognition. Embedded Intelligence lets you explore and also develop new innovative input methods. Evaluation of these methods are done in projects. Both individually and in teams, you can work on challenging application projects. Our modern AI labs are well equipped with the latest technologies and high-performance GPU computers. Our professors and lecturers have acquired their knowledge at international universities and relevant research institutions.
Course of studies
The program consists of three semesters of the Master study programme and a bridge semester.
Within the bridge semester you will be able to get to the campus (if you get your VISA late), get familiar with university life (administration, online learning, curriculum). You will learn important and missing competences for the study programme. Different courses are offered in winter and summer term. You may work on a model factory, programme robots, learn web programming or increase your intercultural competence. This helps to get ready for the Master programme.
In the first two semesters of the Master study programme, you will learn the most important fundamentals and practical skills for the successful use of modern AI technologies. In the process, you will test and explore the use of artificial intelligence in the context of various application scenarios in the industrial sector in several practical projects. In addition to subject-related content, you will be prepared for your everyday work as a Master of Science in courses on scientific writing and other soft skills. In the third semester, you will write your master's thesis.
The language of instruction in all modules is English.
Upon completion of the program, you will receive the academic degree "Master of Science (M. Sc.) for Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Applications".
