The aim of this master's degree course is to enable students to act independently and responsibly and to apply scientific findings and methods in the field of information technology with a focus on either
- Artificial Intelligence and Big Data ("Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence"), or
- Automation Systems in Industrial Applications ("Automation and Smart Factory").
The consecutive master's programme is aimed at graduates with a first relevant engineering or scientific degree. Relevant fields of study are, for example, electrical engineering and information technology, mechatronics & digital automation, industrial 4.0 informatics or media informatics or comparable computer science programmes with a technical orientation. For other courses of study, the examination board will decide on the relevance.
