Offers for employees

There are various offers for the employees of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden. These include the workshop "self-defense", which takes place at regular time intervals. The next course and how to register will be announced here in given time.

For employees with parenting responsibilities

For our employees' children between the ages of 6 and 13, there is the ”energy4kids“ event in Amberg and "campus4kids" in Weiden on the Day of Prayer and Repentance. On this school-free day, the children are offered an exciting program that includes, for example, child-friendly lectures with experiments, fun and games on campus, and a visit at the workplace of their parents.
The exact dates and program for both campuses will be announced in a timely manner.

If your childcare cannot be provided under certain circumstances, you have the possibility to use the parent-child-(work-) room. This room is available at both locations of the university and offers a good short-term alternative.

The Equal Opportunity Officer at OTH Amberg-Weiden advises and supports the non-scientific personnel of the university in various areas.
