Sexual harassment, discrimination and bullying
At the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, no sexual harassment, discrimination or any kind of bullying are tolerated. Therefore, we see it as our responsibility to sensitize all university members to these issues and, at the same time, to offer affected students and employees a contact person and the support they need.
You have been affected by sexual harassment, discrimination or bullying? Please contact us directly. The contact persons for students are Prof. Dr. Christiane Hellbach and Prof. Dr. Gabriele M. Murry. Employees please contact the Equal Opportunity Officer, Ms. Marion Boss.
Your information will be treated confidentially at all times and is subject to official secrecy. In general, it is your decision which measures you want to take or what steps you want to be taken. No matter how you decide, we will stand by your side and provide you with the support you need.
In our FAQ: Sexual harassment, discrimination and bullying, you will find information on what is meant by the terms according to the General Equal Treatment Act and what exactly is covered. You will also be told what you can do if you are affected. Possible consequences for the person acting unlawfully are also included.
If you ever become aware of a situation involving sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying or violence, please do not hesitate to help: whether by offering help, intervening in what is happening without endangering yourself or others, calling for help from a third party or making an emergency call to the police.
