am Mittwoch, den 07. Mai findet in der Tennishalle am Postkeller unser careerday statt. Wir bitten darum, an diesem Tag von 08-15 Uhr auf die Parkfläche am gegenüberliegenden (alten) Volksfestplatz auszuweichen, um am Veranstaltungstag Parkplätze in ausreichender Zahl für die Aussteller zur Verfügung stellen zu können. Bitte folgen Sie der Beschilderung über den Campus zum Postkeller.
Am Donnerstag, den 08. Mai stehen die Parkplätze wieder in gewohnter Weise zur Verfügung.

Who? Students from all faculties and anyone who wants to work on a start-up idea and get to know young companies in the region.
Under the motto “Start-ups meet Students”, selected start-up teams from East Bavarian universities will present themselves and their start-up projects in short pitches and then discuss their vacant positions. We are looking for co-founders, permanent team members, final-year students, working students and interns. Afterwards, interested students have the opportunity to get to know the founders better in break-out sessions and to network in a relaxed atmosphere.

The election of the elective modules which will be conducted in the winter semester in the study programme "International Energy Engineering" is possible online from tomorrow, Tuesday, 08.04.2025, 12:00 p.m. until Tuesday, 15.04.2025, 11:00 p.m.
You have 3 votes for choosing 3 out of the following 5 modules:
- Wind and Hydropower
- Plant and Equipment Design in Energy Technology
- Concepts of Combined Heat Power and Cooling
- Methods of Life Cycle Assessment
- Energy Management with AI-Methods
The descriptions of these modules can be found in the course catalogue on the IEE website. The 3 modules with the most votes will be conducted.
For your information: The module "Sustainable Building Technology" cannot be offered in the winter semester 2025/26.
The election can be done exclusively online.

The Course Catalogue is now divided into two parts.
The structure of the Course Catalogue has been changed from the summer semester 2025. The Course Catalogue is now divided into two parts. There is one document for your respective degree programme (Course Catalogue[name of degree programme]) and another, general document (Modulverzeichnis WEBIS) in which all modules are listed in detail. The modules are all given an individual ID, which makes it easier for you to find the relevant module in the module directory (Modulverzeichnis WEBIS).
You can find the Course Catalogue and the module directory as usual on our homepage under the respective degree programme page:

Liebe Studierende,
wir möchten euch heute auf die Vortragsreihe "Hidden Champions Oberpfalz" hinweisen, welche die OTH Amberg-Weiden zusammen mit dem VDI Bezirksverein Bayern Nordost e.V. auf die Beine gestellt hat.
Dabei werden innovative und visionäre Unternehmen der Region vorgestellt, die in ihren Branchen echte „Hidden Champions“ sind.
Die Themenreihe soll in besonderem Maße unseren Studierenden die Chance bieten, erste Kontakte zu möglichen späteren Arbeitgebern zu knüpfen und den VDI näher kennenzulernen.
Gerne laden wir euch zur vierten Veranstaltung am Donnerstag, 10. April um 16:30 Uhr, zur Nabaltec AG nach Schwandorf ein.
