  • Shooting on 17.07.24 in the evening in the Amberg library

    Library

A media technology team will be filming in the Amberg library on Wednesday evening. The equipment will be set up at around 8 pm and filming will begin at dusk.

I have asked the team to keep as quiet as possible, as it is still exam time. Nevertheless, disturbances cannot be ruled out.

If you want to have it quiet, please move to one of the carrels or a group study room.

We ask for your understanding, but the library should not be missed when filming learning locations at OTH.

  • Group study rooms in the Amberg library

    Library

The two group study rooms will be accessible 24 hours a day again from Monday, 24.06.24 up to and including Wednesday, 31.07.24.

    Please note:

    •  Waste should be put in the waste garbage can and not left on the tables.
    • When leaving, close the windows and turn off the lights.
    • We accept no liability for your equipment, bags and jackets if you leave them unattended.
  • Amberg Library: 24-hours access

    Library

    Concerns/Category:

The entrance door to the library faces east and is made of metal. For this reason, the material heats up very much in the sunshine and the contact in the closing mechanism no longer works properly as the metal warps easily.

Simple solution: When you are in the airlock, simply pull the entrance door slightly towards you. This restores the contact and you can enter the library as usual.
