Die Homelaufwerke wurden vom Server NAVARA auf einen neuen Server umgezogen. Der neuen Servername lautet SINALCO. Bitte prüfen sie in ihrem Explorer ob ihnen als Servername für ihr H-Laufwerk nun der neue Name angezeigt wird. Ihre Daten wurden vom alten Server komplett übernommen. Sollten sie wider erwarten Dateien vermissen so melden sie sich bitte beim Rechenzentrum.

the EMI faculty is offering a Bachelor's elective in September 2024: Certified Tester and SecurityEssentials (CTSE)
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to credit the module with ECTS for you as Master's students.
However, I would like to inform you about its existence, which you can attend as a pure elective subject without ECTS credit
in your curriculum, purely out of intrinsic motivation for the subject.
It is a two-week block course (5 ECTS / 4SWS) in the last two weeks of September. I am organising the module in cooperation
with sepp.med GmbH.

The EMI faculty is offering a compulsory elective course as a block course in September 2024:
Certified Tester and Security Essentials (CTSE)
Offer possible from: MI-4/II-4/GI-4/KI-4/IK-5 (or higher semesters)
This is a two-week block course (5 ECTS / 4 SWS) in the last two weeks of September. It is already part of the compulsory elective catalogue. I organise the module in cooperation with sepp.med GmbH.
CTSE has two thematic blocks: Certified Tester according to the internationally standardised syllabus (Foundation Level) of ISTQB® and Security Essentials according to the syllabus of A4Q®.
Content outline CT: Basic training for tasks, methods and techniques of software testing.
Content outline SE: Conveys the terms, activities and processes commonly used in the security environment, provides insight into typical threats, vulnerabilities and security risks of IT systems as well as information on the state of the art in the field of cybersecurity and software security.

For the first time this year, OTH Amberg-Weiden and the Centre for Gender & Diversity will be represented at the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Schwandorf. CSD is celebrated worldwide every year and serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights and a celebration of the progress made towards equality.
- When: Saturday, 15th June 2024
- Where: Meeting place Marktplatz Schwandorf at 1.45pm
- Merchandise: There will be merchandise in the form of flags, stickers, bracelets and tattoos for all participants.
The first 15 people who get in touch with Marion Nitsche will receive a limited edition t-shirt from the OTH Amberg-Weiden.

Almost all MAI students have registered for "II 4.0 Spring School". This exam registration will not be entered into the system
as you are required to complete the related project and will receive a grade and 5 ECTS (if you pass) in the winter semester.
In the winter semester the exam will be in the normal exam catalogue on Primuss as "Industry 4.0 Spring School Project" and you must register for it yourselves.

Egal, ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener, wir sorgen dafür, dass du richtig coole Erfahrungen sammeln kannst.
Für die ganz Wilden und Mutigen unter euch gibt es einen Übungskurs im Wakeboarden im Angebot.Aber keine Sorge, auch für die Gemütlicheren ist was dabei. Denn ihr könnt einen Stand-Up-Paddle-Board-Kurs belegen.

Amberg Library: 24-hours access

The entrance door to the library faces east and is made of metal. For this reason, the material heats up very much in the sunshine and the contact in the closing mechanism no longer works properly as the metal warps easily.
Simple solution: When you are in the airlock, simply pull the entrance door slightly towards you. This restores the contact and you can enter the library as usual.
