Important information about 24h-access to the library Weiden
Concerns/Category:
To gain access to the 24h library, you must attend a library introduction once.
These take place:
Monday and Tuesday 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday and Thursday 1:15 p.m.
To register:
- choose a suitable date
- write your name in the corresponding list at the counter in the library
On the selected date:
- come to the library
- say at the counter that you are here for the library introduction
Please note: You will only be granted access after you have taken part in the library introduction!
Simply writing your name on the list does not give you 24-hour access!
You must then also appear on this date and take part in the introduction.After the introduction, we will activate your student card for the 24-hour library for the rest of your studies.
Join now and save yourself stress during the examination period or in the coming semesters!

Dear Students,
Re-registration for the summer semester 2025 is possible from Thursday, 16th January 2025 up to and including Monday, 24 February 2025.
The Studierendenwerk Oberfranken for OTH Amberg-Weiden is increasing the semester fee to 87.00 euros per semester for the summer semester 2025.
Please note this when re-registering for the summer semester 2025.

Bist du Stipendiat oder Stipendiatin bei einem großen Begabtenförderungswerk? Oder erhältst du das Deutschlandstipendium bei uns an der Hochschule? Möchtest du dich mit anderen Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten vernetzen und Erfahrungen austauschen? Oder willst du andere Studierende, die sich für ein Stipendium bewerben, von deiner Erfahrung profitieren lassen? Dann melde dich bei uns!
Liebe Studierende,
im Rahmen des neu gegründeten Student Development Centers möchten wir auch die Stipendienberatung und -information neu aufstellen. Daher wollen wir ein Netzwerk gründen, in dem sich Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten aller Förderwerke einbringen können: das TalentWerk OTH+. Egal, ob zum Erfahrungsaustausch, zum Kennenlernen neuer Leute oder auch zur Unterstützung jüngerer Studierender und StudienanfängerInnen, die sich für ein Stipendium interessieren - wir möchten Leute an der OTH Amberg-Weiden zusammenbringen, denen diese Thematik am Herzen liegt.
Daher bitten wir alle Studierenden, die bereits ein Stipendium erhalten und Interesse an der Mitwirkung an einem solchen Netzwerk haben, sich kurz bei uns zu melden: Entweder per E-Mail an das Student Development Center oder direkt an Kathrin Morgenstern oder Lea-Tara Schmitt.
Auch Studierende, die noch kein Stipendium bekommen, aber Interesse daran haben, sind herzlich eingeladen, sich bei uns zu melden!
