Labor LAuS der OTH in Amberg wurden für das vom European Six Sigma Club Deutschland ausgezeichnete Projekt „Qualifizierung und Weiterentwicklung der automatischen Brummerprüfung der Automatenlinien S0i und [...] und S00i“ die entscheidenden Schallmessungen durchgeführt. Six Sigma ist eine Methode des Qualitätsmanagements zur Prozessverbesserung, und wird unter anderem in der Produktfertigung eingesetzt.
