Course of studies
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Logistics & Digitalization is the title you acquire upon successful completion of this program. At the start of your professional life, you will be excellently qualified to work in business, the public sector or as a self-employed logistics specialist.
The standard period of study is seven semesters including the practical phase and the Bachelor thesis. The course of study is modular and equipped with a credit point system. The teaching content of a module is coordinated thematically and chronologically with regard to the achievement of a partial qualification. Modules are awarded credit points and are concluded with an examination. The course of study comprises a total of 210 credit points (ECTS credits), whereby a module usually comprises 5 credit points. For each credit point, a workload of 30 hours is assumed for the students.
Your studies are divided into three study sections, which document the progress of your studies:
- the first stage of study with semesters 1 and 2
- the second stage of study with the semesters 3, 4 and 5
- the third stage of studies with the semesters 6 and 7.
The practical phase and your bachelor thesis are in the third study phase.

The degree programme Logistics & Digitalization comprises the following study structure:

In the first two semesters you will attend the courses of the basic modules and the basic business administration modules. In the courses you will acquire the business management know-how that you will need in the course of your studies for basic understanding and as a tool. You will attend the following courses:

Practical phase
In the sixth semester, you can expand the skills you have learned during your studies through business practice in the practical phase of at least 18 weeks. You will gain insights into your future professional life and make valuable contacts for your career. When looking for an internship, we provide you with a lot of useful information and will be happy to advise you.
During the practical phase you will be supervised by a professor. The internship is supplemented by at least one additional module according to the curriculum in the scope of 5 credit points.
Bachelor thesis and colloquium
The programme concludes in the seventh semester with the Bachelor thesis and the Bachelor colloquium. Upon successful completion of your studies in Logistics & Digitalization, you will obtain the title of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
